A Southern Vermont family, dealing with heartache is not fighting the battle alone.

Saturday, a line of fire trucks and cruisers piled down Spruce Street in Brattleboro.

In them, where dozens of emergency personnel, waiting to meet Michael Vose.

The 4-year-old was diagnosed with brain cancer in August and is currently going through chemotherapy.

The Pinks Heals Vermont tour met the boy at his house.

The program helps fund-raise for people with illnesses.

Vose's father is a member of the Vernon Fire Department.
