Federal taxes due July 15; no word yet on Vermont taxes
It looks like you can at least file your federal taxes late after all.
The U.S. treasury secretary announced the federal deadline for filing income taxes has been moved from April 15 to July 15.
All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.
Vermont Tax Commissioner Craig Bolio tells WCAX News he's not sure what this means for Vermont's filing deadline but they are trying to figure it out.
