NORTH SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) Fire officials in Springfield are investigating what caused a fire at Vermont Timber Works on Fairbanks Road.
Multiple crews from Vermont and New Hampshire responded to the alarm just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Springfield Deputy Fire Chief, Scott Richardson, said there were a number of hazards in the building as company gasoline tanks erupted in the building.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire and crews remained on scene throughout the night.
Vermont Timber Works is a wood frame supplier.
