Fletcher Free Library to stay open on hot Independence Day

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) Temperatures for this Fourth of July are expected to be in the 90s. And with these hot temperatures, a local library is serving as a cooling station.

The Fletcher Free Library in Burlington will be open Thursday afternoon from noon until 4 p.m.

They say they will provide a cool space for people to gather, read and enjoy the community.

But they say there will be limited services Thursday.
