Grant money to help Vermont biking and pedestrian infrastructure

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Millions are going to help improve biking and walking infrastructure in Vermont, all thanks to a nearly $4 million grant from the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

State leaders say they hope the combination of construction projects and planning grants will benefit the state by improving connectivity and safety for the traveling public.

Some of the $3.6 million will go to address the safety of pedestrian crossings and filling critical sidewalk gaps.
