Police: Traffic stop led to drug bust

BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) Two men face charges and police say heroin and crack cocaine are off the streets after a traffic stop on Interstate 89 near Berlin.

Police say Wednesday at about 7:15 p.m. they stopped a car for an equipment violation.

The men inside were identified as Isaac Morales, 21, of Westfield, Massachusetts, and Marcus Morales, 25, of Springfield, Massachusetts. After a records check, police discovered Isaac Morales had an active arrest warrant for selling cocaine.

They then searched the car and say they found more than 40 grams of crack cocaine and 400 bags of heroin.

Both men are due in court next month.
