A not guilty plea in court Wednesday morning from the woman accused in a Highgate murder.
Police say Erika Guttilla, 31, killed her boyfriend Troy Ford, 35, over the winter.
When Ford's remains were discovered, police say Guttilla took off with her new boyfriend, Corey Cassani, 28.
Police say Guttilla told them that while Ford was sleeping, she put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger, and that she and her mother, Carmen, 60, had been plotting his death.
Wednesday, she denied charges of first-degree murder and obstruction of justice. She's being held without bail.
The other individuals involved in the case have also pleaded not guilty.
