How did your family get to Vermont?
The Clemmons Family Farm is one of about 20 black-owned farms in the state. They recently won a $350,000 grant to expand to an educational museum. The goal of the expansion is to foster a multicultural community through African arts and cultural programs on the farm.
Monday, at an MLK celebration at the Echo Center, they asked people how their families wound up in the Green Mountain State.
They tell us they know how the Clemmons Family got here and they were interested to learn how others made their migration.
