Increasing number of scams targeting Vermonters

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont is seeing an increase in scams with a total of 5,400 people filing reports over the last year.

The Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program says that's a 4.55 percent increase from 2017 to 2018.
