No injuries reported after a house fire in Jericho.

Fire officials say a section of the home on Governor Peck Road was fully involved when they arrived. Crews from multiple agencies were able to contain the fire to one side of the home before it spread any further. The Underhill/Jericho Fire Chief said all three residents and a dog did make it out safely, but three cats were unaccounted for. Cold temperatures and a narrow driveway caused issues for first responders on scene.

"The driveway is icy getting in here, it's a long driveway, obviously, we can't get the trucks up in there. The roadway out here is a sheet of ice at this point, when we start moving water and dumping water into portable ponds and stuff like that it doesn't take long," said Underhill Jericho Fire Chief Mathew Champlin.

There's no word on the cause of the fire, but Chief Champlin says he doesn't believe it’s suspicious.
