A judge is deciding whether a Williston man was price gouging while selling medical masks during the coronavirus pandemic.

The state says Shelley Palmer was selling masks at a 500% markup and falsely claimed they were N95s.

Palmer says he was just turning a profit and didn't lie to anyone.

This is a civil case.

The judge could order Palmer to stop selling the masks altogether.
