Judge to rule on moving trial in deadly wrong-way crash

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) A judge is set to decide where a high-profile Vermont murder trial will take place.

Steven Bourgoin faces five counts of murder. In 2016, police say he intentionally drove the wrong way on Interstate 89 and hit a car head-on, killing five teenagers.

Bourgoin's attorney wants the trial moved out of Chittenden County, saying news coverage will have a negative impact on jury selection.

The judge is expected to make his ruling next week.
