2 arrested in connection with West Rutland shooting

WEST RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont State Police Sunday arrested two more people in connection with a West Rutland shooting.

Police say Joshua Stone, 28, and Kelaura Lynch, 19, both of Rutland, are due in court Monday. Stone is being charged with aggravated assault and accessory aiding in the commission of a felony. Lynch is being charged with accessory after the fact.

Police say there was a fight involving several people at a home on Pleasant Street just after 7 p.m. Friday. As the visitors were leaving, someone fired a gun in the direction of a resident. No one was injured.

Saturday morning, police arrested Christopher Hale of West Rutland. He was charged with violation of conditions of release.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
