A Lebanon, New Hampshire, man is facing charges of forgery and heroin possession.

It happened on Bridge Street in White River Junction last week. Vermont authorities say they were trying to arrest Colby Goodrich, 36, on an outstanding warrant and found 30 bags of heroin and needles in his pocket.

Goodrich was arrested two weeks ago by Massachusetts police after he was allegedly found in possession of nearly 100 bags of heroin during a traffic stop on Interstate 91.

Goodrich was also charged with forging and cashing a series of checks at a general store in Norwich last year.

He was arraigned Tuesday.
