Middlebury massage therapist faces voyeurism charges
A Middlebury massage therapist faces charges of allegedly secretly videotaping customers.
Police say they launched an investigation of Roger Schmidt, 53, the owner of Rogers Relaxing Massage Therapy, after complaints filed by a customer. They say a court-authorized search of the business and Schmidt's home found several hidden cameras and images that appear to have been taken without consent or knowledge of the customers involved.
Police charged Schmidt with four counts of voyeurism. They are asking anyone who received a massage, or other services at the business during 2017 or 2018, to contact Middlebury Police. They say they expect to identify additional victims.
