More snow on the way for morning commute

ALBANY, N.Y. (WCAX) Thursday morning's commute could be tricky, with a few inches of new snow overnight.

In Vermont. forecasters are calling for one to three inches of new snow in the Champlain Valley by the end of the day, with two to five inches away from the Champlain Valley, the higher amounts in the higher elevations.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says crews are ready to go. He says the transportation department has nearly 4,000 operators statewide, including 1,600 snowplows.

Cuomo urges New Yorkers to be extra careful on the roads, with several inches expected to accumulate and the temperatures expected to go into negative numbers.
