CHAMPLAIN, N.Y. (WCAX) A Champlain, New York, woman faces charges of drugged driving with two young children in the car.
Police say that Sheena Kimbler, 26, was having a fight with the driver of the car and took several pills. After the driver pulled over to get help from the state police in Chazy, Kimbler allegedly got behind the wheel and led police on an eight-mile chase on Route 9 with a 2- and 4-year-old in the back seat.
She eventually pulled over and police broke the driver’s side glass to get her out.
Kimbler was charged with Leandra's Law-Aggravated DWAI-Drugs, and endangering the welfare of a child among other charges.
