New Hampshire lawmakers help small businesses

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) New Hampshire lawmakers hope some new laws will make it easier for small businesses to survive.

Two bills are going through the House that would allow more exemptions for certain business, property and income taxes.

Sponsors of the bill say New Hampshire has the third highest property tax rate in the country, with increases almost every year.

The bills still have a long way to go before possibly getting final approval.
