New charges in alleged road rage shooting on I-89

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont State Police have released new details about a suspect who allegedly shot at cars on the interstate.

We told you last Thursday that police believed Jason Dion, 38, of Winooski, targeted another driver-- a woman-- before he shot at a man in a road rage incident on Interstate 89 in Milton last week.

Monday, police released new details saying as he passed the woman's car, he shot into the driver's side and the bullet went into the car.

Police say that happened before he shot at the other victim, which led to a police chase and Dion's arrest.

Dion now faces new charges of attempted murder and reckless endangerment.
