Norwich University celebrates dedication of $24M learning center
Norwich University has dedicated a new $24 million learning center, kicking off a yearlong celebration of the school's bicentennial next year.
Mack Hall is a 58,000-square-foot, four-story learning center with a high-tech, cybersecurity war room, interactive classrooms, study spaces, pocket lounges and a 400-seat auditorium and performing arts center. The Times Argus reports the building is named after lead donors Robert and Tammie Mack.
Board of Trustees Chair Alan DeForest says the capital campaign included a $58 million investment in academics and technology and construction of Mack Hall, renovations of the university library and academic halls and improvements to the upper parade ground.
