The traditional Memorial Day ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery has been canceled, and a video tribute will be shared on social media throughout the week instead.

The Department of Military Affairs and other organizations filmed a wreath-laying ceremony and speeches earlier this month.

Cemetery staff also placed flags last week.

The cemetery remains open during daylight hours, and guests can leave potted plants at gravesites until May 31.

Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services Memorial Day Message

Although we will not hold our traditional Memorial Day ceremony at the NH State Veterans Cemetery on May 30th, our Governor, State Adjutant General, Veteran Service Organizations and community come together to pay tribute to all those who gave the last full measure for our nation. We will never forget and we give our eternal thanks.
