NY police: Grandson a person of interest in suspicious death

BEEKMANTOWN, N.Y. (WCAX) Police are now calling a death in the North Country suspicious and they say they have a person of interest in the case.

New York State Police say Ginger Clark, 73, was found dead in her Beekmantown home Thursday. Police did not release details about her death but said it is considered suspicious and her body will be sent for an autopsy.

Clark's grandson, Gustavo Segundo-Clark, lived with her. And police say Segundo-Clark is a person of interest in their investigation. They say he has been interviewed but no charges have been filed against him. They say Segundo-Clark is in custody for violating the terms of his parole. They did not say exactly what he did to break parole.

Police say the investigation is still underway.

Thursday, family members told our Kelly O'Brien that Ginger Clark's niece found her dead. They told us Ginger Clark was a delight who would do anything for anyone.
