Police: Poop for trick-or-treater a mistake

Police in St. Johnsbury say they've wrapped up their investigation into a Halloween caper.
They tell WCAX News that when a child got a bag of poop, it wasn't a trick or a treat, it was an accident.
Wednesday night, city police told us they were investigating more than one case. Thursday they corrected that and said it was only one case on Mount Pleasant Extension.
Chief Timothy Page said he doesn't know how the poop got wrapped up and put in the kid's Halloween bag, but he does confirm there will be no further investigation into it.
