BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) A man who was on the run after a Burlington bus station fight has been caught.
Burlington police took William Schenk into custody at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Wednesday, Schenk pleaded not guilty in court.
Schenk is the man accused of assaulting another man at the Burlington bus station, sending the victim to the hospital.
Investigators say they tracked Schenk down and convinced him to surrender peacefully.
Schenk was known to police. Four years ago, he left KKK recruitment flyers at the homes of two minority women in Burlington.
