Police investigating suspicious man at Marlboro school

MARLBORO, Vt. (WCAX) Police are investigating a suspicious man who approached a student at the Marlboro Elementary School Monday morning.

Authorities say the school's principal contacted police after a report of a suspicious male that had been at the school earlier in the morning. At the end of the school day, police say an 11-year-old student reported that during morning drop off he had been on the playground with other students and teachers when a strange man standing outside a fenced area spoke to him about being a model. Police say the man then walked away.

The man was described as having black hair, short bangs, brown shirt, dark pants, and flip flops. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Westminster Barracks at 802-722-4600.
