Officers say Ryan Murphy and a friend were boxing and sparring using gloves outside their residence on Shelburne Road. Police say Murphy was struck in the head and lost consciousness.
He was later found unresponsive and not breathing. That is when crews were called, but they couldn't save him. Murphy was declared dead at the scene.
An autopsy was conducted, but the exact cause of death has not been released by the medical examiner's office. Foul play was ruled out.
