Police shut down Burlington homeless camp
Burlington police shut down a homeless camp Thursday.
The city announced it would close the camp on Sears Lane in the city's South End a couple of weeks ago. It put off the move until Thursday.
Police say the homeless people and their belongings were removed from the site. Some of the items left behind were thrown out. The city says it's holding onto the rest for safekeeping.
It's not clear where all those people will be sleeping now.
