Police warn of fake charity scam

Police say a scammer is trying to steal people's money in Bennington County.
Winhall Police and Rescue says a woman in her thirties is going to local businesses and requesting money on behalf of an organization called "The Collaborative."
Police say that organization does not ask for donations in person.
The woman is blonde, about 5-foot-6-inches tall and she was driving a newer-model Jeep Cherokee or Compass.
