Vermont state officials say Vice President Mike Pence's visit to last month cost the state more than $100,000.

Channel 3 filed a public records request for the information. The Department of Public Safety says not all the information is available yet, but the Vermont State Police paid troopers $106,000 thousand to help protect the vice president.

The cost of supplies and other services -- like hotel rooms -- is not yet available, but should be by the end of October.

Pence spent two days near Lake Hortonia Labor Day Weekend.
