VTrans says the plows are out and they're reminding drivers to take it easy Thursday night as the snow keeps falling. Late Thursday afternoon, police in Williston and Essex warned of multiple crashes due to slippery roads.
So far, southern Vermont has gotten the most snow with 3 feet in some spots. Residents face days of cleanup and shoveling out once this ends.
In Woodford, they got 36 inches of snow. The Bennington Banner shared this photo by Dave LaChance. It shows Al Santopietro clearing snow off the roof of the ski rental building at Prospect Mountain in Woodford.
But Woodford didn't even get the most snow in our region from this snow. Searsburg to the east got 40 inches.
We asked our Facebook fans to share snow photos with us-- and they delivered! They showed everything from cars covered in feet of powder to kids making snow castles to people breaking out the shovels.
