Stefanik announces $2M in Lake Champlain grants

More than $2 million is now going to Lake Champlain projects. New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik says it will help protect the lake.

Stefanik announced the funding Tuesday and says it will be awarded from the Lake Champlain Basin Program.

Each year, the group supports a number of projects.

Stefanik says the funding provides support for improving water quality, combating invasive species and pollution.
