Swanton man linked to murder arrested for violating court order
A Swanton man facing charges in connection to a murder in Highgate has been arrested again for violating his court ordered 24-hour curfew.
Corey Cassani, 28, of Swanton, has been accused of helping his girlfriend Erika Guttilla hide the body of her former boyfriend, Troy Ford, in December 2017. The couple then went on the run back in May, but were caught.
Troy Ford's death was allegedly part of a murder plot between Guttilla and her mother. The two women and Cassani have all pleaded not guilty.
Cassani's pre-trial conditions included a 24-hour curfew. He wasa arrested last week in St. Albans Town. He's back in jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
