An arrest in a pair of bird burglaries in Dannemora.

New York State Police say on Nov. 21, they got a report that three chickens were stolen from a garage on Bouck Street.

Then, another homeowner on the same street reported her two pet ducks-- which she'd had for 11 years-- had been stolen.

Police say evidence at the scene led them to Zachary Miller, 17. They say they found the three chickens alive at his nearby home. The ducks were dead.

Police say Miller also admitted to stealing two dirt bikes from another home along with another teen.
