Thunder Road is kicking off its 61st season Thursday night, but it will look a little different.

There won't be any fans in the stands because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But fans can still watch all the action live on pay-per-view on the Northeast Sports Network. The event can be viewed on NSN's website as well as on most mobile and smart TV platforms.

Something fans will not see this summer is Vermont's governor behind the wheel. Gov. Phil Scott, the only race car driving governor in America, earlier this month said he will not hit the track until the current health emergency is over.
