DERBY, Vt. (WCAX) Fire crews from Vermont and New Hampshire responded to two separate truck fires on interstates I-91 and I-93.
Police and fire crews from Sheffield responded to a truck fire on Interstate 91 Monday morning. They say overheated brakes on the truck ignited the fire. There were no reported injuries or road closures related to the fire.
In a separate incident Sunday morning on Interstate 93 in Ashland, New Hampshire, authorities say a propane truck's brakes overheated and caught fire. The truck was hauling 2,800 gallons of propane at the time.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly and northbound traffic was only briefly delayed.
