Vermont State Police say the fire was reported around 2:45 a.m. at the abandoned residence on Route 113. They say the fire was so intense the structure was nearly destroyed by the time crews arrived and that there was not much remaining for investigators. Nobody was reported injured.
Police say the building is owned by Randall Bishop and has been uninhabited for many years. They say a mobile home on the property was destroyed by another suspicious fire last summer.
Police are investigating several persons of interest that have been seen in and around the property the past few months. Call police if you have any information.
