Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department hosting ice fishing clinic
Fishing is a year round sport and today is the start of ice fishing clinics in Vermont. They run through February.
Each clinic put on by The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department lasts two and a half to three hours. Topics taught in the clinics include ice safety, hole drilling, regulations and the different techniques for the different fish. At the end of each clinic participants have the opportunity to practice what they've learned. No experience is needed.
