Vermont commission studying commissions

There are countless jokes about government red tape and inefficiency. In that vein, Vermont has lots of commissions but no one is sure what they all do. To get a handle on it, the Legislature created the Sunset Advisory Commission, a commission to oversee the commissions.

Alicia Freese reported on the issue in this week's Seven Days. She spoke with our Galen Ettlin about what the commissions do, why they exist and if we really need them. Watch the video for the full interview.
