Vermont cutting red tape for health care workers

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont is temporarily cutting red tape to get more health care workers to the front lines.

A new law allows health care and mental health professionals who hold licenses in other states to practice in Vermont without having to obtain a Vermont license.

The new rules also apply to retired Vermonters and new graduates who are unable to take board exams due to the COVID-19 crisis.
