Vermont lawmakers trying to wrap up by weekend

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Being a Vermont lawmaker is a part-time job. They start in January and are supposed to wrap up in mid-May, but not this year.

The legislature is still working on some big ticket items including the budget, and other priority bills like minimum wage and paid family leave.
