Vermont minimum wage to increase in January

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont's lowest-paid workers will get a raise in January.

The Vermont Department of Labor on Monday announced that the state's minimum wage will go up on Jan.1

Minimum wage earners will get an 18-cent boost to $10.96 an hour.

Tipped employees, like waiters, will get $5.48 per hour.
