Vermont teachers union in court over medical bills

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) The Vermont teachers union will be in court Tuesday over medical bills.

A lawsuit was filed against the Williston-based Future Planning Associates last year.

Lawyers for the union said the company mismanaged the rollout of new health care plans, causing thousands of teachers' medical bills to go unpaid and other hardships.

Future Planning Associates lawyers say the company did nothing wrong and withdrew its contract with the school districts in April.
