Vigil to remember life of Vermont homicide victim

NORWICH, Vt. (WCAX) People gathered in Norwich Friday evening for a vigil to remember the life of a Vermont homicide victim.

Austin Colson went missing a year ago. Months later, his body was found in a Norwich barn. Police said the 19-year-old from Royalton was shot in the head.

No arrests have been made in the case but a caretaker of the property where Colson was found, Richard Whitcomb, was named as a suspect early on in the case.

Friends and family of Austin Colson gathered on the green in Norwich Friday to honor his memory.
