No confirmed COVID-19 cases connected to Vermont protests

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) The Vermont Department of Health reports no lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected to recent public protests.

According to a social media post, department members say they support Vermonters engaging in peaceful protests, but remind people to follow precautions.

That includes wearing a mask, staying at least six feet away and staying home when sick.

Those who participate in a protest are encouraged to get tested.
