Vt. communities taking different approaches on mask requirements

While the state is only encouraging, not requiring, people to wear a mask, some communities are making their own rules.

Brattleboro has joined Burlington and South Burlington in requiring people to wear face masks.

According to the Brattleboro Selectboard, people are required to wear a mask inside all businesses in town as well as non profit centers and government buildings.

Children under five and those with special circumstances are exempt.
