Vt. municipalities may change election day procedures for safety

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) Vermont's secretary of state says cities and towns can make major election day changes to make it safer for voters during the pandemic.

Jim Condos says local leaders can mail ballots to voters, do drive-up voting, hold voting outside, forgo reviewing write-in votes in some cases and adjust the deadline for nominating paperwork.
