A Poultney teenager is behind bars after police say he threatened to shoot up a local high school.
Jack Sawyer, 18, will appear before a judge in the Rutland County Courthouse Friday.
He was arrested Thursday after police say he threatened a mass school shooting at the Fair Haven High School.
He is being charged with attempted aggravated murder, attempted first-degree murder and attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police haven't released many details about the threat but say they're collecting evidence and conducting interviews.
Anyone who has recently talked to Sawyer is asked to call police.
He is being held without bail.
