Walmart surveillance catches suspects passing counterfeit bills

WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) Walmart store security video caught two women police say were involved in a counterfeit crime.

Police say employees at the Walmart in Williston on Wednesday found seven fake $100 bills that had been passed on Tuesday.

Store security videos showed the two women suspected of passing the bills. The cameras also captured a man driving a black Mercedes or Buick with New York plates who police believe is also connected to the counterfeit cash.

Police are investigating similar incidents at the Walmart stores in St. Albans and Berlin.
