'Wishful recycling' apparent cause of CSWD fire

Investigators say a fire Tuesday at the Chittenden Solid Waste District's facility in Williston could have been caused because someone tried to recycle something that they shouldn't have.
CSWD officials say that fires can be ignited by batteries and other unsafe objects that people just assume will be sorted out, a mindset they call "wishful recycling."
Williston firefighter Prescott Nadeau says conditions at the site were concerning and one firefighter was treated for minor injuries.
