NH woman pleads not guilty to stabbing boyfriend

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (WCAX) A New Hampshire woman was in court Tuesday accused of attempted murder in the stabbing of her boyfriend last month in Norwich.

Police arrested Amanda Zanis, 38, over the weekend in Danbury, New Hampshire, and she waived her extradition back to Vermont.

Police say Zanis injured her 44-year-old domestic partner with a knife at a home on New Boston Road the evening of Sept. 12.

Zanis pleaded not guilty in Windsor County Court. She is being held without bail.
